Our Mission

The Black Catholic Information Mall (BCIMall) is a project of the Catholic African World Network to establish a constant flow of communications among the 200 million Catholics of African descent in the world today. The BCIMall Home Page is a 'Virtual Global Parish Bulletin' for Black Catholic populations throughout the world. This 'Virtual Global Parish Bulletin facilitates the search for valuable news and information. In establishing the Black Catholic Information Mall (BCIMall), the Catholic African World Network hopes to expand its communication services in evangelizing the Black community in the global 'Virtual' village.

Focus

As we begin the BCIMall concept, the organization of pages will reflect the Catholic African World Network's focus. The Mall Directory will focus on four areas:

  1. Catholic - Catholic interests focusing on the Catholic Church as institutions of service, worship and education
  2. African - Afro-centric Resources, Information and News for the Catholic Community
  3. World - Information on and listings of Catholics of African descent in the global 'virtual' village
  4. Network - Listing of service organizations and personnel for the sharing of ministries

Our plans for the months to come are:

  • National Black Catholic Congress materials
  • National Black Catholic organizations
  • Black Catholic Video Resource Catalog
  • Resource Directory of Black Catholic Speakers\Revivalists
  • Travel to national and international destinations and Special events
  • Black Perspectives on the Second Millennium Pages in Portuguese, Spanish and French
