REVERENCE FOR LIFE
"Pray Proclaim and Promote the Gospel of Life"
Spring 2002

Since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Christ, through whom
we have gained access by faith to this grace
in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:1-2

"Our faith history as a people of African descent has been a living testimony
that the hand of God continues to lead and sustain us."
Bishop J. Terry Steib, S.V.D., D.D.
Bishop of Memphis

I ____________ HUMBLY MAKE THIS PLEDGE TO UPHOLD AND RESPECT
THE DIGNITY OF LIFE FROM THE MOMENT OF CONCEPTION TO ITS

LORD, HELP ME TO RUN THIS RACE AND TO BE YOUR FAITHFUL
WITNESS FOR LIFE. AMEN, HALLELUJAH, AMEN

We are happy to announce that the
National Black Catholic Congress has entered
